We Believe

Jesus Christ is the One and Only Son of God, who died for our sins and arose from the dead.  Jesus is God’s unique definition of who He is, God with us.  1 Corinthians 15:1-8 & John 3:16

That faith in Jesus Christ is the means to a saving relationship with God.  Only in Christ do we have ultimate security.  By our faith in Jesus we are justified (made right with God - Rom. 5:1).  A true faith is an obedient faith… a faith that works (James 2:22-24).

The Church is the body of Christ on earth.  The Christian life is intended by God to be lived in genuine community with other believers and followers of Christ.  Every Christian is called to take their place alongside other believers in a Christ-centered community of faith. Ephesians  4:1-16

The Bible is the inspired word of God.  It’s our Truth Source.  God inspired human authors with a message that is still relevant and life-changing today, providing the guidance we need to fulfill God’s plan for our life.  2 Timothy 3:16, Psalm 119:105, 2 Peter 1:21

Every Person has value as a creation of God.  He loves us unconditionally, as we are.  God is passionately committed to an intimate, personal relationship with us.  Romans 8:31-39 

Sin separates us from God.  All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.  Romans 3:23

Jesus’ death on the cross and resurrection from the dead make God’s love and forgiveness available.  God extends an individual offer of love and forgiveness through the person, work and teaching of Jesus Christ.  John 3:16

God’s offer of love and forgiveness must be accepted by faith by each individual.  Those accepting Christ by faith should repent of sin, confess their faith and be baptized into Him.  Romans 10:9 & Acts 2:38

The Holy Spirit lives in each believer & provides the ability to build up others.  He gives us strength, guidance, wisdom, power and ability to radiate and embody the love of God.  Acts 2:38; 1 Corinthians 12:11; Romans 8:9; Ephesians 5:18

That Jesus Christ Will One Day Return And Reign Forever As King Of Kings And Lord Of Lords.  The ultimate fulfillment of an authentic, committed relationship with God is spending eternity in heaven.  1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; John 14:1-6
